The Ole Miss Rebels and Texas A&M Aggies play a crucial SEC game Saturday night at Kyle Field.
The Ole Miss Rebels are coming off a monster win over Alabama and look to remain undefeated. Offensively, Bo Wallace has really stepped his game up by completing 68.5 percent of his passes for 14 touchdowns and six interceptions, and Ole Miss has won five straight when he hasn’t thrown a pick. Laquon Treadwell, Cody Core and Vince Sanders are all 300-yard receivers, and they’ve combined for 11 touchdowns. Ole Miss has produced 15 passing plays of 25 or more yards and has five different players with double-digit receptions. The Rebels ground game is averaging just 3.7 yards per carry but Jaylen Walton has scored in three of his last four games and leads Ole Miss with 238 rushing yards. Defensively, the Ole Miss Rebels are allowing 10.2 points, 277.6 yards, and they’ve forced 13 turnovers and nine sacks. Mike Hilton leads Ole Miss with 27 tackles and Senquez Golson has four interceptions.

The Texas A&M Aggies look to bounce back from their loss to the Mississippi State Bulldogs. Kenny Hill is completing 64.1 percent of his passes for 21 touchdowns, but he’s thrown all five of his interceptions in his last three games. Hill has also completed less than 60 percent of his passes in his last two games. Still, Texas A&M has one of the best passing offenses in the country led by Josh Reynolds, Malcome Kennedy and Edward Pope, a trio that has produced 13 receiving touchdowns. Texas A&M has produced 21 passing plays of 25 or more yards and has four receivers with 20 or more receptions. Trey Williams and Tra Carson has produced more than 500 rushing yards and eight touchdowns. Defensively, the Texas A&M Aggies are allowing 20.5 points, 406.8 yards, and they’ve forced six turnovers and 19 sacks. Howard Matthews leads Texas A&M with 39 tackles and Myles Garrett has eight tackles for loss.
The Rebels are 4-1-1 ATS vs. a team with a winning record and 5-0-1 ATS in their last 6 games overall. The Aggies are 1-4 ATS in their last 5 home games and 3-7 ATS in their last 10 games overall.
I really, really like Ole Miss, but the Rebels are in a tough spot here. Not only is Ole Miss coming off possibly the biggest win of its program, Texas A&M is coming off a tough loss and will be looking to get back on track in front of a home crowd. This has letdown written all over it. I just can't go against Texas A&M in this spot, even though I think Ole Miss is the better team.
