The Texas A&M Aggies and the Ole Miss Rebels face off on Saturday in College Station for a SEC College football battle.
The Texas A&M Aggies are coming off of their first loss of the season as they were handled by Mississippi State on Saturday. As lopsided as the Aggies loss looked they were very much in the game most of the way and really it was several wide open drops of passes that let the game get away from them. The Texas A&M offense is averaging 47.8 points with Kenny Hill completing 64 percent of his passes with 21 touchdowns and five interceptions. Trey Williams is averaging 6.8 yards per carry with four touchdowns and Tra Carson is averaging 5.7 yards wit four touchdowns. Malcome Kennedy missed last weeks’ game but he leads A&M with 33 receptions, Ricky Seals-Jones has 30 receptions and Josh Reynolds as seven touchdown catches. The Texas A&M defense is improved over last season allowing 20.5 points per game with two interceptions, four fumble recoveries, and 20 sacks. Howard Matthews has 39 tackles, Justin Bass has 37 tackles, and Myles Garrett has 6.5 tackles. Texas A&M has plenty of chances against teams ranked ahead of them to climb back up the rankings.

The Ole Miss Rebels are coming off of perhaps the biggest win in the history of their program as they knocked off the top ranked Alabama Crimson Tide. Ole Miss came up with play after play against the Tide all the way down to the end in a game that certainly wasn’t any kind of fluke. The Mississippi offense is averaging 35.8 points led by QB Bo Wallace who has completed 68.5 percent of his passes with 14 touchdowns and six interceptions. Jaylen Walton is averaging 5.9 yards per carry with three touchdowns and I’Tavius Mathers is averaging 4.6 yards per carry. Laquon Treadwell leads Ole Miss in receiving with 25 catches and Cody Core and Vince Sanders each have 20 receptions. The Rebels defense allows a stingy 10.2 points per game with 10 interceptions, nine sacks, and three fumble recoveries. Mike Hilton has 27 tackles, Cody Prewitt has 25 tackles as does Deterrian Shackelford Tony Conner. Ole Miss is tied for the number three ranking in the nation.
Texas A&M is 3-7 against the spread in their last 10 games, 1-4 against the spread in their last five home games, and 1-5 against the spread in their last six SEC games. Ole Miss is 5-0-1 against the spread in their last six games, 4-1-1 against the spread against a team with a winning record, and 3-0-1 against the spread following a win.
The total is set at 63 and I like the over in this spot and that is my free pick. My stronger pick is on who will cover the spread and I will post that in the Premium Area as well as on the App.
