The Line: Wisconsin Badgers -24 -- Over/Under: See the Latest Odds

The Illinois Fighting Illini will play the Wisconsin Badgers Saturday at Camp Randall Stadium.

The Illinois Fighting Illini are still looking for their first conference win of the season and will now have to play without starting quarterback Wes Lunt. Lunt suffered a broken leg in the loss to the Purdue Boilermakers, making Reilly O'Toole the starter for the next month and a half. O’Toole is completing 52.6 percent of his passes for one touchdown and four interceptions. The Fighting Illini are likely going to give Josh Ferguson more carries, as he’s averaging 5.8 yards per touch and has scored in three straight games. Illinois has six different players with at least 100 receiving yards, and Mike Dudek and Geronimo Allison have combined for seven touchdowns. However, Illinois’ solid passing offense is going to be a work in progress moving forward without Wes Lunt the one leading the way. Defensively, the Illinois Fighting Illini are allowing 35.5 points, 482.3 yards, and have forced seven turnovers and 12 sacks. Mason Monheim leads Illinois with 62 tackles and Austin Teitsma has 6.5 tackles for loss.

Wisconsin Badgers vs. Illinois Fighting Illini - 10/11/14 CFB Pick, Odds, Prediction

The Wisconsin Badgers are coming off a shocking upset loss to the Northwestern Wildcats and have opened up the floodgates in the Big Ten West. There may be a quarterback controversy for the Badgers, as Tanner McEvoy simply isn’t getting the job done, which forced Wisconsin to play Joel Stave for the first time last week. Whoever is the starting quarterback will just have to manage the game, as Melvin Gordon has eight rushing touchdowns in his last three games and is averaging 8.3 yards per carry on the season. Alex Erickson has 25 of Wisconsin's 64 receptions. Defensively, the Wisconsin Badgers are allowing 15.6 points, 285.6 yards, and have forced seven turnovers and 13 sacks. Michael Caputo leads Wisconsin with 37 tackles and Derek Landisch has three sacks.

The Fighting Illini are 7-19 ATS in their last 26 conference games and 1-11 ATS in their last 12 road games. The Badgers are 8-3 ATS in their last 11 home games and 1-7 ATS in their last 8 games overall. The home team is 4-1 ATS in their last 5 meetings.

I really don’t like laying this much chalk, but the Fighting Illini can’t do anything offensively without Lunt on the field. Add that to the fact Illinois hasn’t beaten Wisconsin since 2007 and the Badgers are going to be an angry team after last week, this should result in a blowout.
