USA TODAY Sports
The Texas State Bobcats continued to flex their muscle in a 35-30 week six victory over visiting Idaho to up their record to 3-2. The boxscore was deceiving with the Vandals holding a 523-466 yardage edge while the Bobcats were guilty of four turnovers and had the ball for less then 19 minutes. Most of the offensive struggles went on the shoulders of quarterback Tyler Jones who completed 11-20 for 76 yards with a touchdown and two interceptions with 58 yards on the ground. The Bobcats were saved by Terrence Franks who amassed 284 rushing yards thanks to a pair of 70 yard scoring runs along with a 95 yard TD. The big play overcame a solid offensive contest from Idaho who were one play away from winning.
This is a very early game and I would like to get a look at the total. I throw this out there and look in to it so please check back Tuesday for updates...
