The Line: Colorado State Rams -5 -- Over/Under: See the Latest Odds

TV: CBS Sports Network HD

The Colorado State Rams play host to Mountain West foe the Utah State Aggies at Hughes Stadium.

The Utah State Aggies improved to 4-2 on the season following a one sided 34-16 victory over Air Force. The Falcons were supposed to cause trouble but the Aggies raced out to a 31-6 lead heading to the locker room and were in cruise control the rest to the way. The yardage was about the same with both finishing with about 390 yards but the USU defense was far more opportunistic with two fumble recoveries and a pair of interceptions. The Aggies didn't have a rushing attack to lean on with under 80 yards but quarterback Darell Garretson's passing was more then enough to light up the scoreboard. Darretson completed 20-29 for 298 yards with 23 yard and 75 yard touchdown strikes to Hunter Sharp who caught 12 balls for 164 yards overall.

The red hot Colorado State Rams won number four in a row with a 31-24 victory at Nevada to improve to 5-1 on the season. The Rams built a 31-3 lead in the third quarter and then had to fend off a Wolf Pack comeback that saw them score 21 points in a row and force the Rams in to survival mode over the remaining six minutes of regulation. Nevada held a slight 457-445 edge in yardage with the Wolf Pack doing the majority of their damage in the second half. Colorado State was one dimensional with Garrett Grayson throwing for 326 yards with a one yard scoring toss to Steven Walker while Rashard Higgins had 42 yard and 51 yard scoring receptions. Dee Hart gave CSU some semblance of a rushing attack with 90 yards on 23 touches with a nine yard TD run but the air was where the Rams prospered.

The under is 5-0 in Utah State's last five conference games and is 4-0 following the past four SU wins. Colorado State is 4-0 in their last four on fieldturf and 5-0 in the last five home games. Overall Utah State is 2-4 ATS and Colorado State is 5-1 against the number. The Aggies are 2-1 inthe last three years of this match up including a 13-0 victory in 2013.

Utah State is forced to carry on without the services of star quarterback Chuckie Keeton and they have performed well. Colorado State wasn't expected to be quite as strong as in 2013 but in my view this year's team is even better and right now I'll lay the points...
