The LSU Tigers and the Kentucky Wildcats face off on Saturday in Baton Rouge in a SEC college football matchup.
The LSU Tigers are coming off of a last second win at Florida and as exciting as itwas this is clearly a rebuilding year. The LSU offense is averaging 34.9 points per game and 414.1 yards as QB Anthony Jennings completes just 50 percent of his passes with six touchdowns and three interceptions. Leonard Fournette paces the LSU rushing attack averaging 5.4 yards per carry with six touchdowns and Travin Dural has been the standout receiver with 24 catches and six touchdowns. The LSU defense allows 19 points and 333.3 yards per game with eight interceptions 11 sacks, and eight fumble recoveries. Kwon Alexander has 46 tackles, Danielle Hunter has 40 tackles, and Roland Martin has 37 tackles. LSU has a roster loaded with talent but they don’t have a ton of experience.

The Kentucky Wildcats are off to a 5-1 start and they are just one win away from being bowl eligible as the football program finally takes a step forward. The UK offense is averaging 36.5 points and 448.5 yards per game as QB Patrick Towles has completed 2.5 percent of his passes with 10 touchdowns and four interceptions. Jojo Kemp is Kentucky’s leading rusher averaging 5.3 yards per carry with four touchdowns and Braylon Heard is averaging 7.4 yards per carry and Ryan Timmons leads in receptions with 27. The Kentucky defense is allowing 18.7 points per game and 343.5 yards with 11 interceptions, five fumble recoveries, and 17 sacks. Josh Forrest has 46 tackles, Khalid Henderson has 35 tackles, and Alvin Dupree has three sacks. This would be another huge win for Kentucky if they can muster up one.
LSU is 5-2 against the spread in their last seven games, 4-1 against the spread in their last five home games, and 2-6 against the spread following a win. Kentucky is 5-1 against the spread in their last six games, 5-14 against the spread in their last 19 SEC games, and 5-15 against the spread in their last 20 road games.
