The UAB Blazers are coming off of a loss to Middle Tennessee State that ended a two game winning streak. The UAB offense is averaging 37.6 points per game and 477.9 yards as QB Cody Clements leads the offense completing 69.5 percent of his passes with 10 touchdowns and seven interceptions and rushing for 167 yards and four touchdowns. Howard Jordan leads the Blazers ground attack with 52 yards and seven touchdowns and D,J, Vinson also has seven touchdowns on the ground and Kennard Backman is the UAB leading receiver with 25 catches and J.J. Nelson has 20 catches. UAB’s defense allows 28.4 points and 394.9 yards per game with six interceptions, 20 sacks, and four fumble recoveries. Jake Ganus has 33 tackles, Jay Davis has 29 tackles, and Diahee Watkins has 5.0 sacks. UAB lost to their other SEC opponent, Mississippi State, 47-34 on September 6.
Arkansas is 6-1 against the spread against a team with a winning record, 5-1 against the spread in their last six games, and 12-3 against the spread at home against a team with a winning road record.
