The Tennessee Volunteers and the Alabama Crimson Tide face off on Saturday in Knoxville in SEC college football action.
The Tennessee Volunteers have been in a tailspin losing four of their last five games with their only win coming against FCS Chattanooga. While the Vols had close losses to Georgia and Florida, hey are coming off of a loss where they were battered and beaten by Ole Miss. The Tennessee offense is averaging 24.4 points and 325.1 yards per game. QB Justin Worley has taken a pounding being sacked 30 times wile completing 62.3 percent of his passes with 12 touchdowns and eight interceptions. Jalen Hurd is Tennessee’s leading rusher averaging 4.3 yards per carry with two touchdowns and Marquez North and Alton Howard each have 26 receptions. The Tennessee defense allows 21.3 points and 325.9 yards per game with nine interceptions, five fumble recoveries, and 17 sacks. A.J. Johnson has 78 tackles, Jaylen Reeves-Maybin has 58 tackles, and Brian Rudolph has 49 tackles. Tennessee will be hard pressed to make a bowl game this season and missing one would be a major disappointment.

Tennessee is 7-19-1 against the spread against a team with a winning record, 2-6 against the spread in their last eight SEC games, and 6-19-1 against the spread in their last 26 home games against a team with a winning road record. Alabama is 2-5-1 against the spread following a win, 2-8-1 against the spread in their last 11 games, and 0-4 against the spread in their last four road games. Alabama has covered the point spread in their last six games against Tennessee.
The Total is set at 46.5 and I see this one staying under. My stronger play is on who will cover the spread and I will post that in the Premium Area as well on the App.
