The Arizona Wildcats and the Colorado Buffaloes face off on Saturday in a Week 10 Pac-12 college football matchup.
The Arizona Wildcats have to feel like they let an opportunity get away as they fell at UCLA last Saturday Night. Arizona was in the game with UCLA the whole way but they just couldn’t get it going on offense and it ended with their second defeat of the year. Arizona’s offense will look to bounce back as they are averaging 36.4 points and 326.8 yards per game led by QB Anu Solomon who has completed 59.9 percent of his passes with 21 touchdowns and five interceptions. Nick Wilson leads the Wildcats rushing attack with 610 yards and seven touchdowns and Cayleb Jones is Zona’s top receiver with 50 receptions and eight touchdowns. Defensively Arizona is allowing 26.9 points and 449.4 yards per game with 11 forced turnovers and 23 sacks. Scooby Wright has 97 tackles and 12 sacks, Jared Tevis has 74 tackles, and Jourdon Grandon has 47 tackles. Arizona’s defense allowed just 17 points last week but the offense scored just seven.

The Colorado Buffaloes have lost five games in a row and they are still looking for their first pac-12 win of the season. Colorado is competitive and plays close games but they are struggling to get a conference win. The offense is averaging 30.9 points and 473.1 yards per game and they are led by QB Sefo Liufau who has completed 65.2 percent of his passes with 25 touchdowns and 12 interceptions. Michael Adkins has rushed for 397 which leads the Buffs and Tony Jones has rushed for 338 and Nelson Spruce leads all Colorado receivers with 90 receptions and 11 touchdowns. The CU defense allows 38.7 points and 444.1 yards and have sacked opposing QB’s just 15 times. Chidobe Awuzie has 64 tackles, Tedric Thompson has 59 tackles, and Kenneth Olugbode has 58 tackles. Colorado is looking for a big win over a conference foe that they can build on.
Arizona is 2-5 against the spread in their last seven games, 3-7 against the spread against the Pac-12, and 4-1 against the spread following a loss. Colorado is 10-21 against the spread against a team with a winning record, 5-2 against the spread against a team that didn’t cover the point spread, and 17-38 against the spread in their last 55 road games.
This is a lot of points in a game where the teams often play close games regardless of who they are playing so taking the big number with Colorado is the play.
