The Boise State Broncos look to continue their march to the postseason with the New Mexico Lobos in the way.
The Boise State Broncos have their sights set on victory number three in a row when they visit New Mexico. The Broncos have been starting to look like the Broncos of old at times and they were at their best heading in to their bye week when they stomped visiting Brigham Young 55-30 as they led 41-16 at the break and were never challenged. Boise State dominated total yardage 637-322 with 28 first downs and over 37 minutes of possession. Grant Hedrick had a field day in the air with 410 yards with four touchdowns and an interception with Thomas Sperbeck hauling in six passes for 148 yards including a 78 yard TD. Jay Ajayi led the Broncos on the ground with 118 yards on 26 carries with a pair of trips to the endzone.

The New Mexico Lobos have shown improvement in 2014 and we'll see how much Saturday when Boise State comes to town in week eleven. The Lobos are hoping to build on the momentum of their 31-28 victory over UNLV where they were outgained 485-306 but won the battle of turnovers 3-1. The Rebels had far more balance with the ability to run and throw while the Lobos only ran the ball unless you consider five passing yards an air attack. UNM was led on the groung by Jhurell Pressley who rambled for 138 yards on 20 carries with three touchdowns. Teriyon Gipson and Lamar Gordon were solid second and third options with a combined 140 yards on 27 touches. The key here was New Mexico stayed close and were able to stay on the ground because they can't throw.
The under is 5-1 in Broncos last 6 games after accumulating more than 450 total yards in their previous game while the over is 5-1 in Broncos last 6 games after accumulating more than 200 yards rushing in their previous game and is 4-1 in Broncos last 5 games after accumulating more than 280 yards passing in their previous game. For New Mexico the Lobos are 0-5 ATS in their last 5 home games while the under is 4-0 in Lobos last 4 games after accumulating more than 200 yards rushing in their previous game and is 5-1 in Lobos last 6 home games vs. a team with a winning road record. If the Broncos can get a lead and somewhat contain the Lobos on the ground I favor Boise State because New Mexico won't put the ball in the air...
