The Line: Miami Hurricanes +3 -- Over/Under: TBA See the Latest Odds

The Florida State Seminoles travel down to Miami to play the Hurricanes on Saturday night.

The Florida State Seminoles improved to 9-0, 6-0 ACC after beating the Virginia Cavaliers at home 34-20 last weekend. The Seminoles have quality wins over Oklahoma State, Clemson, Notre Dame, and Louisville this season. Florida State has not looked sharp at times and has come from behind in several of their games. Jameis Winston has so many off the field stories and issues floating around, but he still gets the job done on the field. Against Virginia, Florida State allowed 257 total yards and forced three turnovers. On the season, the Seminoles are allowing an average of 22.4 points per game, which ranks 34th in the country. The Florida State offense is averaging 37.9 points per game, which ranks a solid 16th in the country. Winston threw for 261 yards with 1 touchdown and 2 interceptions against the Cavaliers last weekend. WR Rashad Greene had an outstanding game with 13 catches for 136 yards and a touchdown. The Seminoles have three games ahead of them before they can reach the ACC championship game and try to earn a spot in the four-team playoff. This will be the Seminoles fourth road game of the year; Florida State beat NC State by 15, Syracuse by 18, and Louisville by 11 away from home this season.

Miami Hurricanes vs. Florida State Seminoles - 11/15/14 College Football Pick, Odds, and Prediction

The Miami Hurricanes improved to 6-3 with a win over North Carolina 47-20 at home two weeks ago. Miami has knocked off the likes of Duke, Cincinnati, Virginia Tech, and North Carolina while losing to Louisville, Nebraska, and Georgia Tech this season. Against North Carolina, the Hurricanes allowed only 258 total yards and forced two turnovers. On the season, the Hurricanes are allowing 21.9 points per game, which ranks 21st in the country. Offensively, Miami is averaging 33 points per game, the 45th best in the country. QB Brad Kaaya completed 11 of 17 passes for 189 yards and 3 touchdowns against the Tar Heels. RB Duke Johnson led the way again, rushing for 177 yards and 2 touchdowns while also catching 2 balls for 49 yards and another score. The Hurricanes will have had two weeks to prepare for this huge game and are playing their best football of the year. Miami will play their sixth game at home; the Hurricanes are a perfect 5-0 at Sun Life Stadium.

Florida State has won the last four meetings against Miami, including a 41-14 win last year at home. The Seminoles have shown some weaknesses and if they come out flat in this game they might not get away with it. The Hurricanes are red hot right now and will have had two weeks to prepare for what is their biggest and most important game of the year. I think Miami will come out and physically manhandle the Seminoles. The Hurricanes will have success with Duke Johnson and will contain Winston on defense. Miami wins this game outright and knocks off the defending champs.
