The UNLV Rebels make the long trip to Aloha Stadium to take the field with the Hawaii Warriors.
The UNLV Rebels have struggled to score ad defend in 2014 and the only thing they have left is to finish the season strong and go into the offseason on a positive note. The Rebels have dropped four straight following a 42-23 defeat at Brigham Young. The Rebels hung with the Cougars for more then a half but BYU had too much offensive firepower with almost 600 yards. Te visitors simply couldn't keep up with their 403 yards behind a fairly strong ground attack. Shaquille Murray-Lawrence led the run with 143 yards on 20 totes including a 68 yard TD gallop with Keith Whitely adding 51 yards. Unfortunately the Rebels passing attack wasn't strong with Blake Decker and Jered Lebowitz went 20-45 for 204 yards.

The Hawaii Warriors have shown improvement in 2014 simply for winning a few games if for no other reason. The Warriors have struggled to find a quarterback and score for the majority of the season with the defense unable to win on their own merits. That changed when Hawaii picked up a 13-0 road victory at San Jose State in week 12 action. The Spartans dominated total yardage 462-240 but lost a pair of fumbles and threw an interception. Joey Iosefa led the Warriors on the ground with 68 yards on 26 carries with a one yard touchdown run while Ikaika Woolsey connected on 9-16 for 150 yards and an interception. The MVP of the offense might have been Tyler Hadden who booted a pair of field goals.
The under is 4-0 in Rebels last 4 vs. a team with a losing record and the Rebels are 0-5 ATS in their last 5 games after allowing more than 450 total yards in their previous game while the over is 4-1 in Rebels last 5 games in November. For Hawaii the under is 4-0 in Rainbow Warriors last 4 vs. a team with a losing record while the Warriors are 1-6-1 ATS in their last 8 games following a S.U. win with the over going 5-1 in Rainbow Warriors last 6 games after accumulating less than 100 yards rushing in their previous game. Head to head the Rebels are 1-6 ATS in their last 7 meetings and the Underdog is 4-1 ATS in their last 5 meetings while the over is 4-1 in the last 5 meetings. Not a made for TV game but Hawaii at home looks like the choice...
