The Alabama Crimson Tide are the number one ranked team in the nation and are looking at a spot in the college football playoffs. The Alabama offense is averaging 36.7 points and 489.3 yards per game and they are led by QB Blake Sims who has completed 63.1 percent of his passes with 24 touchdowns and seven interceptions. T.J. The Missouri Tigers find themselves in the SEC Championship for the second year in a row after winning the SEC East. Missouri took bad losses at home to Georgia and Indiana but other than that they won them all and plenty of times in the underdog role. The Missouri offense is averaging 28.6 points and 365.9 yards per game and they are led by QB Maty Mauk who has completed 53.5 percent of his passes with 22 touchdowns and 11 interceptions. Russell Hansbrough has rushed for 949 yards and nine touchdownsand Bud Sasser has 65 catches and nine touchdowns. The Missouri defense is allowing 19.7 points and 331.1 yards per game with 22 takeaways and 40 sacks. Kentrell Brothers as 103 tackles, Michael Scherer has 100 tackles, and Shane Ray has 13.5 sacks. Missouri is hoping to have another upset in them.
Alabama is 8-3 against the spread in their last 11 neutral site games, 4-11-1 against the spread in their last 16 games, and 0-4 against the spread following a game that they covered the point spread. Missouri is 16-5 against the spread in their last 21 SEC games, 13-3 against the spread against a team with a winning record, and 19-6-1 against the spread in their last 26 games.
The line in this one just seems to high as Missouri seems to play up to the tougher competition and I see them at the very least keeping this close.
