College Football Preview: The 2015 Arizona Wildcats
Arizona Wildcats Preview 2014 Record 10-4 Lost Vizio Fiesta Bowl 38-30 vs Boise State
Overview: The Arizona Wildcats had a solid season last year finishing with a record of 10-4. Arizona did end the season poorly though, getting blown out by Oregon in the Pac12 Championship game and then losing their bowl game to Boise State. However, Arizona does have a lot of talent returning for this year and they don’t have to play Oregon in the regular season this year.
Offense: The biggest surprise last year was freshmen quarterback Anu Solomon who broke out throwing for 3793 yards with 28 touchdowns and 9 interceptions. If he can avoid a sophomore slump watch out for this offense. Along with Solomon, sophomore running back Nick Wilson and a great year running for 1375 yards and 16 touchdowns. Arizona also returns their leading receiver Cayleb jones who caught 73 passes for 1019 yards and 9 touchdowns. This Offense is loaded with talent and should be fun to watch.

Defense: The Arizona defense was led by a breakout performance by linebacker Scooby Wright III. He led the team with 163 total tackles and 13 sacks. He is the leader of this defense and if he can have another solid season, this Arizona defense will be good. Arizona lost three defensive backs that they will have to replace. Arizona’s offense will be able to score and if this defense can limit their opponents they will have a good year.
Special Teams: Arizona will return senior kicker Casey Skowron who made 20-28 field goals and senior punter Drew Riggleman who averaged 46.1 yards a punt.
Overall: The Arizona Wildcats have all the pieces to have a big year. If Anu Solomon, Nick Wilson, and Scooby Wright can all have good years, Arizona should have no problem getting back to the Pac-12 Title game. Look for Arizona to have a double-digit win season and to finish ranked inside the top 25.
