The Western Kentucky Hilltoppers look to build on their 14-12 victory over Vanderbilt. Brandon Doughty is completing 63.3 percent of his passes for 209 yards, one touchdown and zero interceptions. Doughty has thrown at least one touchdown for 15 straight passes. Tyler Higbee and Taywan Taylor have combined for 142 receiving yards and a touchdown while senior Antwane Grant has five receptions. The Western Kentucky Hilltoppers ground game is averaging 37 yards per contest, and Leon Allen leads the way with 56 yards and a touchdown. Defensively, WKU is allowing 12 points and 393 yards per game. TJ McCollum leads the Hilltoppers with eight tackles, Kalvin Robinson has a sack and Nick Newton has an interception. Dejon Brown and Joe Manley are questionable with injuries.
The Bulldogs are 5-0 ATS vs. a team with a winning record and 1-4 ATS in their last 5 Thursday games. The Hilltoppers are 5-2 ATS in their last 7 Thursday games and 1-5 ATS vs. a team with a winning record.
This line is extremely surprising considering Western Kentucky has one of the better quarterbacks in the land. Driskel, um, isn't a respectable quarterback regardless of how he looked against a nobody program. I like the Hilltoppers offense to get going here and pickup the victory on its home field.
