Georgia Tech will host the Tulane Green Wave this Saturday as Georgia Tech looks to pick up thier second win of the year.
Georgia Tech is coming off of a huge win over Alcorn State 69-6. Quarterback Justin Thomas didn’t even need to throw the ball he only attempted 4 passes. Georgia Tech ran and ran and ran the ball for 476 yards. Leading the rushing attack was Marcus Marshall and Patrick Skov. Patrick Skov rushed for 72 yards and 3 touchdowns while Marcus Marshall rushed for 184 yards and 2 touchdowns while averaging 23 yards a carry. 13 different players recorded a carry last Saturday. Corey Griffin and Lynn Griffen led the defense with 9 combined tackles. After an easy first game for Georgia Tech, they will face some better competition this week against Tulane.

Tulane is coming off of a rough start to their season where they lost 37-7 at home against the Duke Blue Devils. Quarterback Tanner Lee struggled only completed 24 passes out of 42 attempts for 246 yards and 1 touchdown with 1 interception. 4 different running backs recorded a carry this past game but none were able to get anything going with Tulane falling behind right from the start. Wide Receiver Devon Breaux and Teddy Veal led the Tulane this past week with a combined 9 receptions for 141 yards and 1 touchdown. Tulane’s defense was picked apart against Duke allowing 37 points. Linebacker Nico Marley had a big game recording 13 tackles. Tulane will need to figure their defense quickly because they play a more explosive offense in Georgia Tech this week.
