Syracuse will host the Wake Forest Demon Deacons Saturday as each team will look for their second win.
Syracuse opened up their season with a big 47-0 win against the Rhode Island Rams. Unfortunately for Syracuse they have their quarterback Terrel Hunt for the season. Freshman quarterback Eric Dungey stepped in after the injury and went 10/17 for 114 yards and 2 touchdowns. Running Back Jordan Fredericks had 14 carries for 103 yards and a touchdown. Freshman running back Jacob Hill recorded 75 yards on the ground as well. Ervin Philips and Steve Ishmael led the receivers with a combined 5 receptions for 70 yards and 2 touchdowns. Linebacker Zaire Franklin led their defense with 6 tackles and 1 sack. Syracuse’s defense looked good shutting out Rhode Island. Look for Syracuse to pound the run game since they lost their starting quarterback. Syracuse will get their first real test against an ACC opponent in Wake Forest this week.

Syracuse lost their starting quarterback for the year and even with their back up quarterback playing i think they are still a better team then Wake Forest and Syracuse is at home. Take Syracuse to cover.
