The Line: Miami (Ohio) RedHawks +19 -- Over/Under: 60 See the Latest Odds

The Cincinnati Bearcats will travel to Yager Stadium to take on the Miami (OH) Redhawks this Saturday afternoon in College Football action.

The Cincinnati Bearcats (1-1, 0-1 AAC) will look to rebound after suffering a tough 34-26 loss to the Temple Owls this past Saturday. Cincinnati was able to outgain the Temple Owls by a 557 to 296 margin and had an incredible 34 first downs, however committed five turnovers which proved to be the difference in the loss. Leading the way for the Bearcats was QB Gunner Kiel who completed 30 of 52 passes for 427 yards, 2 TD’s and 4 INT. The Bearcats had 4 receivers that gained more than 50 yards and were led by Mekale McKay who had 2 receptions for 105 yards and a TD. Leading the rushing attack for the Bearcats was Tion Green who had 59 yards and a TD on 13 carries. Cincinnati’s defense has been decent early in the season as they are holding opponents to 22.0 ppg on just 271.0 ypg. The Bearcats have been great in containing opposing QB’s as the defense is only allowing 11.45 ypg.

Miami (Ohio) vs. Cincinnati - 9/19/15 College Football Pick, Odds, and Prediction

The Miami (OH) Redhawks dropped to 1-1 (0-0 MAC) on the season after getting steamrolled by the Wisconsin Badgers 58-0 this past Saturday. The Red Hawks weren’t able to get anything going on the offense end as they were outgained by the Badgers by a 451-157 margin. The Redhawks were down 37-0 by halftime and finished the game with -3 rushing yards. Leading the way for Miami (OH) were wide receivers Rokeem Williams (3 rec, 54 yds) and Sam Martin (4 rec, 46 yds). Quarterback Billy Bahl struggled completing only 7 of 20 passes for 98 yards and 2 interceptions. Miami (OH) lost the turnover battle by a 4-1 margin and struggled to stop the Badgers even when they had their second string in. The Redhawks are allowing opponents to average 32.5 ppg and 384.5 ypg.

The Bearcats are 4-1 ATS in their last 5 road games however, are 0-5 ATS in their last 5 non-conference games. The Redhawks are 3-0-1 in their last 4 games following a S.U. loss and 6-0 ATS in their last 6 games after accumulating less than 100 yards in their previous game.

I’m shocked that this line is currently under 3 TD’s as Cincinnati is one of the best teams in the AAC while Miami (OH) is one of the worst in the MAC. Cincinnati has a dynamic offense that could have easily beat Temple last week if they limited the turnovers and I feel that they won’t have any issue against the below average Miami (OH) defense. I see Cincinnati bouncing back in a big way and I think the Bearcats and Gunner Kiel will easily cover this spread on the road. Take the Bearcats to cover.
