The Memphis Tigers look to stay perfect when the Cincinnati Bearcats visit on Saturday.
The Cincinnati Bearcats did what they had to do in defeating Miami (Ohio) 37-33 but it probably wasn’t what many expected as a 19 point favorite. The Bearcats had no problem moving the ball with 545 yards but four turnovers didn’t help the situation. The Redhawks moved the ball also with 448 yards but only gave the ball away once. Hayden Moore and Gunner Kiel led the Cincinnati passing attack with a combined 22-40 for 263 yards with Kiel throwing for a score while Moore threw a pair of interceptions. Chris Moore led the Bearcats receivers with five catches for 73 yards and a touchdown while Mike Boone exploded for 118 yards on four carries and a touchdown.

The Memphis Tigers had nothing going defensively against Bowling Green but the offense picked up the slack in a 44-41 road win. The Falcons amassed 579 yards but Memphis wasn’t far behind with 541 yards. Paxton Lynch had a strong passing game for the Tigers on a 29-40 effort for 386 yards and three touchdowns with Tevin Jones topping the receivers with 98 yards on three receptions with a touchdown. The Memphis rushing game was average for the most part but Doroland Dorceus gaining 75 yards on 16 carries with a trip to the end zone while Sam Craft added 50 yards on eleven touches with a touchdown.
The Bearcats are 0-4-1 ATS in their last 5 games overall and are 0-4-1 ATS in their last 5 games on fieldturf while the Bearcats are 0-5 ATS in their last 5 games in September. The over is 4-0 in Tigers last 4 games after accumulating more than 280 yards passing in their previous game and is 6-0 in Tigers last 6 games after allowing more than 450 total yards in their previous game while going 5-0 in Tigers last 5 games following a S.U. win. The Bearcats are 5-1 ATS in their last 6 meetings. I think the only way to go here is Memphis or just walk away…
