The USC Trojans suffered a devastating home upset loss to Stanford last week and they have a tough spot to try and rebound in. USC QB Cody Kessler has completed 78.7 percent of his passes with 10 touchdowns. USC will need to put last week behind them in a hurry, as a road conference game is always tough.
Arizona State is 1-4 against the spread following a win, 1-4 against the spread against a team with a winning record, and 0-5 against the spread in their last five games. USC is 25-9 against the spread following a loss, 1-4 against the spread against a team with a winning record and 5-14 against the spread in their last 19 road games. USC is 1-6 against the spread in their last seven games against Arizona State.
Last week we were reminded of just how bad of a Head Coach Steve Sarksisian is and how it would be impossible for any football team to ever consistently play to their potential under his guidance so no reason to learn that lesson again so we will take the home dog in a conference game.
