The Louisiana Tech Bulldogs and Louisiana-Lafayette Ragin’ Cajuns face off on Saturday in college football action.
The La. Tech Bulldogs are off to a 2-2 start with both of their losses being close and on the road at Kansas State and Western Kentucky. The Louisiana Lafayette Ragin’ Cajuns are off to a 1-2 start and they are coming off of a bad home loss to Akron. The ULL offense is averaging 30.3 points and 437 yards per game and they have turned the ball over 8 times. UL Lafayette QB Brooks Haack has completed 59.7 percent of his passes but he has no touchdowns and three interceptions and he has rushed for 83 yards and a touchdown. Elijah McGuire is ULL’s primary ball carrier rushing for 331 yards and six touchdowns and Gabe Fuselier has 13 receptions. The UL-Lafayette defense is allowing 30.7 points and 420.7 yards per game with two interceptions and seven sacks. Tracy Walker leads the Ragin’ Cajuns with 20 tackles, Zachary DeGrange has 14 tackles, and Dominique Tovell has two sacks. ULL is going to have to turn around the turnover ratio if they hope to find more success.
