Oklahoma State vs. Kansas State - 10/3/15 College Football Pick, Odds, and Prediction

The Oklahoma State Cowboys look to improve to 5-0 and get their second Big 12 victory. Mason Rudolph is completing 67.7 percent of his passes for 1,237 yards, six touchdowns and three interceptions. Rudolph has two or more touchdown in five of his seven career games. David Glidden and Marcell Ateman have combined for 527 receiving yards and five touchdowns while James Washington has 12 receptions. The Oklahoma State Cowboys ground game is averaging 160.5 yards per contest, and Chris Carson leads the way with 274 yards and three touchdowns. Defensively, Oklahoma State is allowing 15.5 points and 299.8 yards per game. Jordan Sterns leads the Cowboys with 40 tackles, Emmanuel Ogbah has five sacks and Ramon Richards has two pass deflections.

The Wildcats are 19-7-1 ATS vs. a team with a winning record and 1-4 ATS in their last 5 games overall. The Cowboys are 21-8-1 ATS in their last 30 games in October and 3-7 ATS vs. a team with a winning record. The Wildcats are 4-1 ATS in their last 5 meetings in Oklahoma State and 4-0 ATS in their last 4 meetings overall.

The last four meetings between KSU and OSU have resulted in either Kansas State victories or losses by one score. Oklahoma State is far more explosive offensively, but Kansas State is better defensively and is better coached. I usually always side with the Wildcats and free points because they don't beat themselves, which gives them a shot against anyone.

I'm taking the points, but don't be surprised if Kansas State wins outright.
