The West Virginia Mountaineers and Oklahoma Sooners meet Saturday at Memorial Stadium.

The West Virginia Mountaineers look to pick up their first road win and remain undefeated. Skyler Howard is completing 69 percent of his passes for 916 yards, nine touchdowns and one interception. Howard has 12 touchdown passes in his last four games. Shelton Gibson and Jovon Durante have combined for 528 receiving yards and six touchdowns while Daikiel Shorts Jr. has 10 receptions. The West Virginia Mountaineers ground game is averaging 220.3 yards per contest, and Wendell Smallwood leads the way with 331 yards and four touchdowns. Defensively, WVU is allowing 7.7 points and 307.3 yards per game. Nick Kwiatkoski leads the Mountaineers with 18 tackles, Karl Joseph has four interceptions and Daryl Worley has three pass deflections.

Oklahoma vs. West Virginia - 10/3/15 College Football Pick, Odds, and Prediction

The Oklahoma Sooners look to remain unbeaten and get their second win over a ranked team. Baker Mayfield is completing 67.3 percent of his passes for 1,062 yards, 10 touchdowns and two interceptions. Mayfield is currently third in the Big 12 in completion percentage. Sterling Shepard and Joe Mixon have combined for 462 receiving yards and four touchdowns while Dede Westbrook has 12 receptions. The Oklahoma Sooners ground game is averaging 182.3 yards per contest, and Samaje Perine leads the way with 263 yards and two touchdowns. Defensively, Oklahoma is allowing 21.7 points and 361 yards per game. Dominique Alexander leads the Sooners with 32 tackles, Devante Bond has two sacks and Zack Sanchez has an interception.

The Mountaineers are 2-7 ATS in their last 9 games in October and 5-11 ATS in their last 16 conference games. The Sooners are 1-7 ATS in their last 8 games in October and 2-5 ATS in their last 7 home games.

Oklahoma has won the last three straight against West Virginia, which includes a 12-point win in WVU last year. The Sooners are at home now and have had an extra week of rest. While I like what the Mountaineers are doing, I expect the Sooners to get the W and the cover on their home field.
