TCU vs. Texas - 10/3/15 College Football Pick, Odds, and Prediction

The TCU Horned Frogs hope to remain unbeaten after a major scare last week against Texas Tech. Trevone Boykin is completing 64.7 percent of his passes for 1,470 yards, 14 touchdowns and three interceptions. Seth Russell and Cody Kessler are the only players with more touchdown passes than Boykin. Josh Doctson and Kolby Listenbee have combined for 795 receiving yards and eight touchdowns while Desmon White has 10 receptions. The TCU Horned Frogs ground game is averaging 235 yards per contest, and Aaron Green leads the way with 434 yards and six touchdowns. Defensively, TCU is allowing 28.3 points and 405.8 yards per game. Denzel Johnson leads the Horned Frogs with 27 tackles, Josh Carraway has 2.5 sacks and Nick Orr has four pass deflections. Terrell Lathan is questionable.

The Longhorns are 9-3 ATS in their last 12 road games vs. a team with a winning home record and 1-5 ATS in their last 6 games overall. The Horned Frogs are 10-1 ATS in their last 11 home games and 14-5 ATS in their last 19 games overall. The road team is 4-1 ATS in their last 5 meetings.

TCU beat he breaks off of the Longhorns last season, and that game was in Austin. I've said it before; the Horned Frogs are just a different team when playing at home. Yes, this is a lot of points to lay, but Texas plays little to no defense and was crushed by Notre Dame in its only other road game this season.

I don't love the chalk, but I see TCU rolling here.
