The Colorado State Rams lost a few valuable players to graduation and it has hurt them on the field. The Rams fell to 2-3 following a 33-18 defeat at rival Utah State in week five. USU won the yardage battle 435-361 while CSU gave the ball away three times. Quarterback Nick Stevens struggled to hook up with his receivers on a 21-46 effort for 252 yards and a touchdown and pick with Rashard Higgins leading the Rams receiving corps with ten receptions for 114 yards and a score. Xavier Williams caught four balls for 71 yards while Jasen Oden led Colorado State on the ground with 55 yards on 13 touches but neither the run or pass was consistent enough.
The Broncos are 0-4 ATS in their last 4 road games vs. a team with a losing home record and the under is 4-0 in Broncos last 4 games on fieldturf and the over is 4-0 in Broncos last 4 vs. a team with a losing record. The under is 6-0 in Rams last 6 vs. a team with a winning record and the over is 4-0 in Rams last 4 games after scoring less than 20 points in their previous game while going 5-1 in Rams last 6 conference games. I like the way the Broncos are playing and I’ll back them here…
