The Notre Dame Fighting Irish look for their fifth win and bounce back from a loss to Clemson. DeShone Kizer is completing 63.6 percent of his passes for 862 yards, seven touchdowns and three interceptions. Kizer has thrown a pick in three straight games. Will Fuller and Chris Brown have combined for 752 receiving yards and eight touchdowns while Amir Carlisle has 13 receptions. The Notre Dame Fighting Irish ground game is averaging 250 yards per contest, and C.J. Prosise leads the way with 650 yards and six touchdowns. Defensively, Notre Dame is allowing 20.6 points and 332.4 yards per game. Jaylon Smith leads the Irish with 38 tackles, Sheldon Day has two sacks and Cole Luke has two interceptions. Quenton Nelson and Tyler Luatua are questionable.
The Midshipmen are 7-3 ATS in their last 10 road games and 5-0 ATS in their last 5 games overall. The Fighting Irish are 1-5 ATS in their last 6 games following a S.U. loss and 5-1 ATS in their last 6 games overall. The Midshipmen are 9-1 ATS in their last 10 meetings in Notre Dame.
The last two meetings between Navy and Notre Dame have been decided by 10 or less points. The triple-option is extremely tough to prepare for on one week, and Reynolds is one of the best option quarterbacks college has ever seen. This spread is rude to the Midshipmen. I expect another tight game between these two teams.
