The Northwestern Wildcats put their perfect record on the line when they visit the Michigan Wolverines.
Northwestern is trying to prove they are better then what most believe and they took a step in that direction after throttling Minnesota 27-0 in week five. The Wildcats won the yardage battle 312-173 and forced a pair turnovers including a fumble return for a touchdown while playing mistake free football. Northwestern did a little of everything with quarterback Clayton Thorson completing 14-19 throws for 128 yards with eight players recording receptions. Justin Jackson was the Wildcats threat on the ground with 120 yards on 20 carries while Thorson scored twice on short runs.

Following a season opening loss at Utah the Michigan Wolverines have rattled off four consecutive wins including back to back shutouts capped off by a 28-0 victory at Maryland Saturday. The Terrapins never had a chance as they were outgained 378-105. The Wolverines did turn the ball over three times but returned the favor with three interceptions. Quarterback Jake Ruddock gave Michigan an adequate game in the air on 16-32 for 180 yards with a 31 yard scoring strike to Drake Johnson. Johnson gave the Wolverines some punch on the ground with 68 yards and a score on13 carries while Jehu Chesson ripped off a 66 yard scoring run.

The underdog is 6-1 ATS in their last 7 meetings and the road team is 4-1 ATS in their last 5 meetings while the under is 6-2 in the last 8 meetings. I believe Northwestern is too good to be getting all of these points…
