Texas vs. Oklahoma - 10/10/15 College Football Pick, Odds, and Prediction

The Texas Longhorns need a big win here to snap a three-game losing streak. Jerrod Heard is completing 55.3 percent of his passes for 661 yards, two touchdowns and two interceptions. Heard hasn’t thrown a touchdown in three straight games. John Burt and Daje Johnson have combined for 423 receiving yards and one touchdown while Armanti Foreman has 10 receptions. The Texas Longhorns ground game is averaging 171.4 yards per contest, and Heard leads the way with 318 yards and three touchdowns. Defensively, Texas is allowing 38.2 points and 507.2 yards per game. Peter Jinkens leads the Longhorns with 40 tackles, Dylan Haines has two interceptions and Holton Hill has two pass deflections. Daje Johnson and Kent Perkins are questionable.

The Sooners are 2-7 ATS in their last 9 games in October and 1-4 ATS in their last 5 neutral site games. The Longhorns are 1-4 ATS vs. a team with a winning record and 1-6 ATS in their last 7 games overall. The Sooners are 1-3-1 ATS in their last 5 meetings in Texas.

The last couple of Red River Rivalries have been close. Yes, Texas is downright awful. However, rivalries usually bring the best out of teams and I tend to throw a lot of the stats and what not out of the window. While the Oklahoma Sooners should win in a blowout, I'm going to take a shot with the points here in a rivarly game that both teams will wake up for.
