The Cincinnati Bearcats are 3-2 this season and coming off of a bye week after beating Miami two Thursday’s ago. The Cincinnati offense is averaging 39 points and 586.8 yards per game and they have turned the ball over 15 times. Hayden Moore and Gunner Kiel are still competing for the starting job as Bearcats QB with neither being impressive enough to take it both turning the ball over 5 times. Tion Green leads UC in rushing with 383 yards and three touchdowns and Shaq Washington is the top receiver with 34 catches and Max Morrison has 24 catches. The Cincinnati defense is allowing 30.6 points and 397.4 yards per game with two interceptions, two fumble recoveries, and six sacks. Eric Wilson leads Cincinnati with 53 tackles, Zach Edwards has 28 tackles, and Bryce Jenkinson has 21 tackles. Cincinnati has obvious holes on defense and turns the ball over far too often to win consistently.
BYU is 1-4 against the spread against the AAC, 3-7-1 follow a game that they didn’t cover the point spread, and 1-5 against the spread in their last six games in October. Cincinnati is 6-0-1 against the spread following a game that they covered the point spread, 6-2-1 against the spread following a win, and 1-6 against the spread in their last seven non-conference games.
The line for this one isn’t out as of yet as Tanner Mangum is questionable for BYU but please check back and I will update this with my free pick.
