The Georgia Bulldogs and the Missouri Tigers face off on Saturday at Sanford Stadium in SEC college football action.
The Georgia Bulldogs started the season with four wins but now after back-to-back losses they sit at 4-2 for the season. The Georgia offense is averaging 37.2 points and 451.3 yards per game and they have turned the ball over eight times. Bulldog QB Greyson Lambert has completed 62.1 percent of his passes with nine touchdowns and an interception. With Nick Chubb gone for the season Sony Michel takes over the ground attack and he is averaging 6.7 yards per carry with four touchdowns and Malcolm Mitchell is the top receiver with 28 catches and four touchdowns. The Georgia defense is allowing 21.7 points and 331.8 yards per game with six interceptions, nine sacks, and three fumble recoveries. Tim Kimbrough is Georgia’s leading tackler with 44, Jake Ganus has 41, and Leonard Floyd has 33 tackles. Georgia will look to stop the losing as they still have a chance to win the SEC East.

The Missouri Tigers are 4-2 this season as they have lost two of their last three games. The Missouri offense is averaging 18.3 points and 311.5 yards per game and they have turned the ball over eight times. Drew Lock has taken over as the Mizzou QB and he has completed 56.5 percent of hos passes with three touchdowns and three interceptions. Russell Hansbrough is back in action in the Tigers backfield averaging 5.0 yards per carry and Nate Brown has 18 receptions with four touchdowns and J’Mon Moore has 16 catches and two touchdowns. The Missouri defense is allowing 13.5 points and 275.8 yards per game with seven interceptions, two fumble recoveries, and 18 sacks. Kentrell Brothers is Missouri’s top tackler with 74, Michael Scherer has 43 tackles, and Anthony Sherrils has 30 tackles. Missouri will need to shake off last weeks loss to Florida where just about everything seemed to go wrong.
Georgia is 4-1 against the spread following a loss, 1-4 against the spread in their last five games, and 6-14-1 against the spread in their last 21 home games against a team with a winning road record. Missouri is 11-3 against the spread in their last 14 road games, 1-4 against the spread against a team with a winning record, and 1-5 against the spread in their last six games.
This is just a ton of points in a game that should be hard fought so I will take the big number with Missouri.
