Minnesota vs. Nebraska - 10/17/15 College Football Pick, Odds, and Prediction

The Minnesota Golden Gophers look to remain hot after quietly winning four of their last five games. Mitch Leidner is completing 57.9 percent of his passes for 1,009 yards, six touchdowns and four interceptions. Leidner has two touchdown passes in his last three games. KJ Maye and Drew Wolitarsky have combined for 499 receiving yards and four touchdowns while Eric Carter has 17 receptions. The Minnesota Golden Gophers ground game is averaging 172 yards per contest, and Rodney Smith leads the way with 447 yards and one touchdown. Defensively, Minny is allowing 19 points and 306.2 yards per game. Cody Poock leads the Golden Gophers with 45 tackles, Steven Richardson has 3.5 sacks and Jalen Myrick has three interceptions. Antonio Johnson, Briean Boddy-Calhoun and Robert Ndondo-Layare questionable.

The Cornhuskers are 9-2 ATS in their last 11 road games and 5-2 ATS vs. a team with a winning record. The Golden Gophers are 13-3 ATS in their last 16 conference games and 1-4 ATS in their last 5 games overall.

Has anybody been watching these two teams play? Nebraska continues to allow big plays on the defensive side of the ball and is very inconsistent offensively. At least Minnesota has a consistent formula and can string several stops together defensively. Not sure why this is a pick em, but I'm fairly confident that the Gophers pull this out.
