Rutgers vs. Ohio State - 10/24/15 College Football Pick, Odds, and Prediction

The Rutgers Scarlet Knights could use a big victory here to get a game above a .500 record. Chris Laviano is completing 69.3 percent of his passes for 1,388 yards, 12 touchdowns and six interceptions. Laviano has six touchdown passes in his last two games. Leonte Carroo and Andre Patton have combined for 746 receiving yards and nine touchdowns while Carlton Agudosi has 12 receptions. The Rutgers Scarlet Knights ground game is averaging 199.1 yards per contest, and Robert Martin leads the way with 437 yards and four touchdowns. Defensively, Rutgers is allowing 29.2 points and 447.3 yards per game. Steve Longa leads the Scarlet Knights with 66 tackles, Anthony Cioffi has three interceptions and Kemoko Turay has two sacks. Jarius Adams, John Tsimis and Dontae Owens are questionable.

The Buckeyes are 37-16-1 ATS in their last 54 road games and 1-5 ATS in their last 6 games overall. The Scarlet Knights are 7-3 ATS vs. a team with a winning record and 5-2 ATS in their last 7 games on fieldturf.

Ohio State simply gave Rutgers the business last season and while this game is played in the Scarlet Knights backyard this time, I don't see this game being much different. Rutgers is a banged up football team and will struggle to move the football against the Buckeyes. Also, we're talking about a Rutgers team that just allowed 52 points last week to Indiana.

Ohio State should roll here.
