Kemp has three passing touchdowns in his last three games. Isaiah Jones and Bryce Williams have combined for 1,101 receiving yards and six touchdowns while Trevon Brown has 25 receptions. The East Carolina Pirates ground game is averaging 139.7 yards per contest, and Chris Hairston leads the way with 525 yards and seven touchdowns. Defensively, ECU is allowing 29.1 points and 413.3 yards per game. Zeek Bigger leads the Pirates with 65 tackles, Josh Hawkins has two interceptions and Montese Overton has 7.5 sacks. Shirreffs has two passing touchdowns in his last three games. Noel Thomas and Arkeel Newsome have combined for 838 receiving yards and three touchdowns while Tyraiq Beals has 21 receptions. The UConn Huskies ground game is averaging 120.5 yards per contest, and Arkeel Newsome leads the way with 412 yards and four touchdowns. Defensively, UConn is allowing 22.1 points and 388.5 yards per game. Andrew Adams leads the Huskies with 65 tackles, Jhavon Williams has three interceptions and Folorunso Fatukasi has 4.5 sacks.
The Pirates are 13-4 ATS in their last 17 games following a S.U. loss and 2-10 ATS in their last 12 conference games. The Huskies are 5-16 ATS in their last 21 games in October and 18-37-2 ATS in their last 57 games overall.
UConn may not win many games, but they compete hard and have had a lot of close losses this season. I'm not 100 percent sold on East Carolina. Give me the home team and the free touchdown.
