Kinnick Stadium and the Iowa Hawkeyes play host to conference rival the Maryland Terrapins.
The Maryland Terrapins have not been strong enough on either side of the ball which has led to a four game slide following a tough 31-30 loss to visiting Penn State. The Terps dominated yardage 466-363 but lot the turnover battle 5-3. Quarterback Perry Hills gave Maryland a dual threat with 225 passing yards and a touchdown and three picks on 19-28 while leading the team with 124 rushing yards and a TD 26 carries while Brandon Ross logged 58 yards on ten touches with a trip to the end zone. The Terrapins had no trouble moving the football but could not avoid mistakes.

I have to say I’m a bit surprised the Iowa Hawkeyes are 7-0 but their defense has been tough to move on. That trend continued and the offense more then held up their end of the bargain in a 40-10 rout at Northwestern. Iowa piled up almost 500 yards while holding the Wildcats to under 200 yards and forcing three turnovers. Quarterback CJ Beathard gave Iowa an average game through the air with 176 yards and an interception on 15-25 with Matt VandeBerg hauling in eight balls for 78 yards. The Hawkeyes dominated the running game with Akrum Wadley rambling for 204 yards and four touchdowns on 26 carries with Derrick Mitchell Jr. logging 79nyards and a TD on ten tries.
The over is 4-0 in Terrapins last 4 games after accumulating more than 200 yards rushing in their previous game and the Terrapins are 0-4 ATS in their last 4 games after allowing less than 100 yards rushing in their previous game while the over is 6-1 in Terrapins last 7 games in October. The over is 2-0-2 in Hawkeyes last 4 games after allowing less than 275 total yards in their previous game and is 5-0-2 in Hawkeyes last 7 games after allowing less than 100 yards rushing in their previous game while going 7-1-2 in Hawkeyes last 10 games following a S.U. win. Taking Iowa as a DD favorite is not the best way to increase your bankroll so I can't back them here…
