The Old Dominion Monarch’s haven’t had a lot of positives to draw from this season and didn’t have any in a 41-12 week eight defeat at Florida International. This was fairly competitive until the Golden Panthers ended the game on a 24-6 run. The Monarchs moved the ball well with almost 500 yards but gave the ball away three times which made FIU’s 448 yards look even better. Quarterback David Washington gave the Monarchs126 yards with an interception on 13-24 but the team needed at least twice as much. Eri’Reon Hayes led the receiving corps with 62 yards on a pair of receptions while Ray Lawry ran for 161 yards and a touchdown followd by a 75 yards scoring jaunt by Zach Pascal.
The over is 4-0 in Hilltoppers last 4 games after allowing more than 200 yards rushing in their previous game and is 4-0 in Hilltoppers last 4 games following a ATS loss while going 3-0-1 in Hilltoppers last 4 games on turf. The Monarchs are 0-4 ATS in their last 4 games after scoring less than 20 points in their previous game and are 0-4 ATS in their last 4 games after accumulating more than 450 total yards in their previous game while going 0-10 ATS in their last 10 games following a S.U. loss. I think on offense alone that Western Kentucky gets the job done…
