The Central Michigan Chippewas won their 3rd straight game an improved to 5-4 (4-1 MAC West) on the season after defeating the Akron Zips, 14-6, this past Saturday. Leading the way for the Chippewas was WR Anthony Rush who had 105 yards and a TD on 9 receptions. On the season, Central Michigan is averaging 26.3 ppg on 392.2 yards per game (296.2 passing, 96.0 rushing). The Rockets are 6-0 ATS in their last 6 road games and 6-1-1 ATS in their last 8 conference games. The Chippewas are 4-0 ATS in their last 4 home games and 9-1 ATS in their last 10 games overall.
Toledo will be looking to bounce back after losing their first game of the season and although their strong rushing attack should be able to find some holes against the Chippewas defense, Central Michigan is a tough team to be at home. Central Michigan has one of the better QB in the MAC in Copper Rush leading their offense and I think Rush and the Chippewas defense will do enought to keep this one within the spread. Take Central Michigan and the points in this one.
