The Louisiana-Lafayette Ragin’ Cajuns can stay in the Sun Belt race with a win at the South Alabama Jaguars.

The Louisiana-Lafayette Ragin’ Cajuns are still in contention for the Sun Belt Crown with their only conference loss coming to league leader Arkansas State. The Ragin’ Cajuns have won three of four after squeezing by Georgia State 23-21 on the road in week ten that evened their record at 4-4. The Panthers totaled almost 400 yards with ULL totaling 307 yards and benefitting from a blocked punt returned for a touchdown. Quarterback Brooks Haack completed 18-25 for 162 yards and a TD with Al Riles leading UL Lafayette with eight receptions for 103 yards and a score.  Elijah McGuire and Torrey Pierce combined for 126 rushing yards on 35 carries but the offense struggled for yardage overall.

South Alabama Jaguars vs. Louisiana-Lafayette Ragin' Cajuns - 11/12/15 College Football Pick, Odds, and Prediction

The South Alabama Jaguars rode a 45 second half explosion to rally past Idaho 52-45 to snap a two game skid. The Vandals outgained USA 494-400 and led in turnovers 3-2 but the majority of the Jaguars damage came  in their wild second half. Quarterback Cody Clements didn’t stretch the field on 11-19 for 114 yards  and a pair of touchdowns with Gerald Everett recording three receptions for 34 yards and a score to lead the South Alabama receiving corps. Xavier Johnson paced the Jaguars on the ground with 148 yards on nine touches and a score. South Alabama also had a kick return and fumble return for touchdowns.

The Ragin' Cajuns are 3-0-2 ATS in their last 5 games after accumulating less than 170 yards passing in their previous game and  are 1-6-1 ATS in their last 8 games on fieldturf while the under is 4-1 in Ragin' Cajuns last 5 games following a S.U. win. The Jaguars are 0-7 ATS in their last 7 games following a S.U. win and are 0-7 ATS in their last 7 games after accumulating more than 200 yards rushing in their previous game while the over is 5-0 in Jaguars last 5 home games. I am sitting here trying to find a reason to back either squad and have no answer…

South Alabama +1.5 // line has moved 4 pts in favor of ULL so I wouldn't play USA // under 58 might be an option
