Albertsons Stadium and the Boise State Broncos host MWC rival the New Mexico Lobos.
Don’t look now but the New Mexico Lobos are in Bowl contention after a 14-13 upset of visiting Utah State as a three touchdown underdog. This was a defensive struggle from the opening whistle with the Aggies holding a 294-236 yardage edge with the teams combining for just 23 first downs. The run first Lobos struggled to throw with quarterback Lamar Jordan going 2-5 but connecting with Delane Hart-Johnson with an 86 yard scoring strike. The New Mexico rushing attack was productive at times with Teriyon Gipson totaling 86 yards on 18 touches with Jordan logging 45 yards on eleven totes.

The Boise State Broncos are coming off a bye week with a 7-2 record following back to back victories. The Broncos have looked great and not so great at times but their offense was clicking in a 55-27 win at improved UNLV. This was a close contest before Boise went on a 28-7 4th quarter run on the way to a 705-487 yardage edge. The Broncos could do everything but quarterback Brett Rypien was potent in the air with 469 yards and a pair of touchdowns with Thomas Sperbeck hauling in ten passes for 163 yards while Chaz Anderson caught seven balls for 106 yards and a score. Boise was solid on the ground behind 122 yards and a TD from Jeremy McNichols while Kelsey Young added 87 yards and a trip to the end zone.
The Lobos are 0-4 ATS in their last 4 games following a S.U. win and are 6-1 ATS in their last 7 games in November while the under is 11-2 in Lobos last 13 games after allowing less than 20 points in their previous game. The over is 4-0 in Broncos last 4 games in November and the under is 5-0 in Broncos last 5 home games while the over is 12-2 in Broncos last 14 vs. a team with a winning record. The underdog is 4-0 ATS in their last 4 meetings and the Lobos are 4-0 ATS in their last 4 meetings. Short and sweet is I’ll take Boise State but doubt I’ll play it…
