The Boise State Broncos are a solid 7-3 on the season and will be going Bowling even though they don’t appear to be as dominant as usual. Case in point was week eleven’s 31-24 home loss to New Mexico as a 31 point favorite which was shocking to say the least. Boise amassed 638 yards but gave the ball away four times while the Lobos totaled413 yards with a pick and lost fumble. Quarterback Brett Rypien gave the Broncos 503 passing yards with a pair of touchdowns but three crucial interceptions on 40-74. Thomas Sperbeck was the receiver of choice with 20 receptions for 281 yards while Jeremy McNichols was the Broncos go to guy on the ground with 128 yards and a TD on 26 touches.
The Falcons are 4-0 ATS in their last 4 games overall and the over is 4-0 in Falcons last 4 conference games while the Falcons are 5-0 ATS in their last 5 games after allowing more than 280 yards passing in their previous game. The under is 6-0 in Broncos last 6 home games and the over is 7-1 in Broncos last 8 vs. a team with a winning record while the under is 5-1 in Broncos last 6 games after accumulating more than 280 yards passing in their previous game. I wouldn’t write off Boise but the points are just too tempting…
