The Southern Miss Golden Eagles take the field with the Washington Huskies in the Heart of Dallas Bowl.
The Washington Huskies leaned on their defense more often then not to control the scoreboard and give their offense a chance to win games. That was with good reason as UW averaged almost 30 points on 388 yards with average rushing and passing attacks. The defense was the bread and butter of the Huskies with just 18 points allowed on 350 yards with a top 30 run ‘D’ leading the way. QB Jake Browning could throw with almost 2,700 yards but 16 touchdowns and ten INT’s was not good. Jaydon Mickens and Joshua Perkins were the Huskies top receivers with over 1,000 yards on 83 receptions while Myles Gaskin was one of the top runners in the game with 1,121 yards on 201 carries.

The under is 6-0 in Huskies last 6 games after allowing more than 280 yards passing in their previous game and is 5-1 in Huskies last 6 non-conference games while Washington are 5-1 ATS in their last 6 games after accumulating more than 200 yards rushing in their previous game. I don’t care for the chalk but I think the Huskies have enough defense to win…
