Pittsburgh vs. Navy - 12/28/15 Military Bowl College Football Pick, Odds, and Prediction

The Navy Midshipmen finished the season at 10-2 and it was a late season loss to Houston that prevented them from being a BCS buster. Navy is averaging 36.2 points and 411.4 yards per game and they have turned the ball over seven times. Midshipmen QB Keenan Reynolds completed 53.1percent of his passes for seven touchdowns and one interception and he rushed for 1,229 yards and 21 touchdowns. Chris Swain is Navy’s top running back with 909 yards and 10 touchdowns and Jamir Tillman is the top receiver with 27 catches and five touchdowns. The Navy defense is allowing 21.3 points and 368.1 yards per game with nine interceptions, 15 fumble recoveries, and 22 sacks. Lorentez Barbour leads the Middies with 70 tackles, Micah Thomas has 68 tackles, and Will Anthony has 60 tackles including 7.5 sacks. Navy has been strong all season and Reynolds is one of the top overall players in the nation.

Pittsburgh is 2-6 against the spread in their last eight non-conference games and 26-10-1 against the spread following a loss. Navy is 16-5 against the spread following a win, 5-2 against the spread against a team with a winning record, and 1-4 against the spread against the ACC.

The total on this one has been set way too low and we can expect plenty of points and scoring and I love the over.
