The Colorado State Rams look for a big home victory in order to get a game above a .500 record. Faton Bauta is completing 46.2 percent of his passes for 114 yards, one touchdown and zero interceptions. Bauta has one touchdown pass on his last 59 pass attempts. Elroy Masters, Jr. and Michael Gallup have combined for 105 receiving yards on seven catches while Olabisi Johnson has three receptions. The Colorado State Rams ground game is averaging 191 yards per contest, and Dalyn Dawkins leads the way with 156 yards and one touchdown. Defensively, Colorado State is allowing 29 points and 406.5 yards per game. Kevin Davis leads the Rams with 25 tackles, Jakob Buys has two sacks and Braylin Scott has one interception.
Northern Colorado hasn't played a division I school in over a year and has been suspect on defense against subpar schools. Colorado State has won 10 of its last 13 home games and has a playmaking defense that could give the Bears trouble. This is a chance for the Bears to get a nice victory against an in-state rival, but the Rams should be able to get the job done fairly easily.
