Florida vs. North Texas - 9/17/16 College Football Pick, Odds, and Prediction

The North Texas Mean Green are 1-1 this season after beating Bethune Cookman last week. UNT is averaging 31 points and 422 points per game and they have turned the ball over 4 times. Mean Green QB Alec Morris has completed 56 percent of his passes with two touchdowns and four interceptions. Jeffrey Wilson leads the North Texas rushing attack with 169 yards and three touchdowns and Terian Goree has 12 catches and Willie Robinson has 9 catches. The North Texas defense is allowing 27 points and 401.5 yards per game with two interceptions and five sacks. Fred Scott and Cortney Finney each have 11 catches to lead the Mean Green and Joshua Wheeler and Kishawn McClain each have 10 tackles. This is a tough spot for the Mean Green and they can’t make any mistakes if they hope to stay close.

Florida is 4-1 against the spread against CUSA, 1-5 against the spread in their last six home games, and 0-5 against the spread in their last 5 non-conference games. North Texas is 4-0 against the spread against the SEC, 2-11 against the spread in their last 13 road games, and 7-15 against the spread in their last 22 games.

This just looks like a lot of points and while Florida is the better team and they win big, they don’t win big enough to cover this number.
