The UCF Knights hope for a statment home victory to get a game above a .500 record. Justin Holman is completing 43.6 percent of his passes for 212 yards, two touchdowns and zero interceptions. Holman has thrown at least one touchdown pass in four of his last seven games. The Terrapins are 4-1 ATS in their last 5 road games and 2-12 ATS in their last 14 games following a straight up win. The Knights are 2-7 ATS in their last 9 games following a ATS loss and 1-7 ATS in their last 8 home games.
I'm still not sure how good Maryland is, as games against Howard and FIU don't exactly do it for me. Florida International also had chances to make it a game against the Terps before falling apart in the second half. UCF also has a history of pulling off an upset or two, as we saw back in 2014 where it beat BYU and nearly topped Penn State. In 2013, it beat a top-10 Louisville club and beat Penn State on the road. The Knights have some of that under the radar Florida talent that can sneak up on you.
Not sure the Knights win this game, but the points are likely going to come in handy.
