The Wisconsin Badgers hope to keep climbing up the rankings after a fast 2-0 start to the season. Bart Houston is completing 64.2 percent of his passes for 436 yards, two touchdowns and two interceptions. Houston now has six career touchdown passes under his belt. Robert Wheelwright and Troy Fumagalli have combined for 275 receiving yards on 17 catches while Jazz Peavy has nine receptions. The Wisconsin Badgers ground game is averaging 214 yards per contest, and Corey Clement leads the way with 197 yards and three touchdowns. Defensively, Wisconsin is allowing 12 points and 240.5 yards per game. T.J. Watt leads the Badgers with 10 tackles, Alec James has two sacks and Derrick Tindal has one interception.
The Panthers are 7-1 ATS in their last 8 road games and 1-4 ATS in their last 5 non-conference games. The Badgers are 7-3 ATS vs. a team with a losing record and 4-0 ATS in their last 4 games overall.
Both of these clubs are heading in different directions. However, Wisconsin doesn't have a bunch of 40-point wins under its belt over the years and Georgia State isn't THAT bad. Also, this may be a look ahead game for the Badgers who have to play Michigan State on the road next week. While the Badgers have the ability to smack the Panthers around, I like the value of the truckload of points here.
Give me the road dog.
