Texas A&M quarterback Trevor Knight was everywhere as he connected on 12-22 for 225 yards and two touchdowns while leading the rushing attack with 157 yards and two more scores on ten touches. Through a 2-2 start the South Carolina Gamecocks have shown the ability to make stops although points will become a valuable commodity as the season progresses. Scoring was definitely an issue in a 17-10 defeat at Kentucky as a 2.5 point road dog where UK held a 351-268 edge in real estate. The bad news for the Gamecocks was an inability to establish the run with AJ Turner’s 12 carry, 42 yard performance topping the ground game. South Carolina quarterback Brandon Mcllwain struggling on 15-30 for 177 yards Hayden Hurst leading the receiving corps with 84 yards on seven receptions.
The under is 6-0-1 in Texas A&M’s last 7 games on grass and is 6-0 in Texas A&M’s last 6 road games while the under is 3-0-1 in Texas A&M’s last 4 games after accumulating more than 450 total yards in their previous game. South Carolina are 6-0 ATS in their last 6 games after allowing more than 200 yards rushing in their previous game and the under is 5-0 in South Carolina’s last 5 conference games while going is 9-1 in South Carolina’s last 10 games after accumulating less than 100 yards rushing in their previous game. A big spread and I’m backing Texas A&M because I think their offense will be finding the endzone often…
