The Miami Hurricanes have a chance to start 5-0 for the first time since the 2013 season. Brad Kaaya is completing 66.3 percent of his passes for 935 yards, eight touchdowns and three interceptions. Kaaya has won or less touchdown passes in six of his last eight games. The Seminoles are 6-1 ATS in their last 7 games on grass and 7-3 ATS in their last 10 games overall. The Hurricanes are 4-1 ATS in their last 5 games in October and 4-0 ATS in their last 4 games overall. The Seminoles are 4-1 ATS in their last 5 meetings in Miami and the under is 5-0 in the last 5 meetings.
The Hurricanes are going to be jacked up for this game not because they're undefeated and looking like a threat in the ACC, but because they haven't beaten the Seminoles since 2009. I liked the Miami Hurricanes heading into the season, and they're playing even better than I expected with a top-10 defense in the country. FSU has been a mess all year, losing to Louisville and North Carolina, but remember the Noles also probably should have lost to Ole Miss as well. Florida State isn't ready for the combination of offensive firepower and improved defense the Canes have to bring to the table.
Give me the Miami Hurricanes and the small chalk against the FSU Seminoles.
