The Georgia Bulldogs and South Carolina Gamecocks meet early Saturday night in a SEC showdown at Williams-Brice Stadium.
The Georgia Bulldogs could use a big road victory to snap a tough streak of back-to-back losses. Jacob Eason is completing 53.6 percent of his passes for 991 yards, seven touchdowns and four interceptions. Eason has thrown one interception in each of his last four games. Isaiah McKenzie and Terry Godwin have combined for 523 receiving yards and four touchdowns while Isaac Nauta has 19 receptions. The Georgia Bulldogs ground game is averaging 193.6 yards per contest, and Nick Chubb leads the way with 425 yards and three touchdowns. Defensively, Georgia is allowing 30.8 points and 377.8 yards per game. Natrez Patrick leads the Georgia Bulldogs with 34 tackles, Lorenzo Carter has one sack and Juwuan Briscoe has two interceptions.

The South Carolina Gamecocks are also desperate for a big SEC win after losing three of their last four games. Brandon McIlwain is completing 52.8 percent of his passes for 567 yards, two touchdowns and one interception. McIlwain has not thrown a single touchdown pass in his last three games. Hayden Hurst and Bryan Edwards have combined for 525 receiving yards on 41 catches while K.C. Crosby has 12 receptions. The South Carolina Gamecocks ground game is averaging 104.8 yards per contest, and A.J. Turner leads the way with 270 yards and two touchdowns. Defensively, South Carolina is allowing 18.6 points and 403.8 yards per game. D.J. Smith leads the South Carolina Gamecocks with 32 tackles, Darius English has five sacks and Chris Lammons has two interceptions.
The Bulldogs are 1-4 ATS in their last 5 games in October and 6-2 ATS in their last 8 games following a straight up loss. The Gamecocks are 2-6 ATS in their last 8 games following a ATS win and 5-2 ATS in their last 7 games following a straight up loss. The Bulldogs are 0-3-1 ATS in their last 4 meetings in South Carolina and 2-6-1 ATS in their last 9 meetings overall.
The South Carolina Gamecocks have been a lot more competitive than people thought they would be before the season began and now have a winnable home game here. That's a big deal considering the home team has won the last four meetings between South Carolina and Georgia. Also, I'm not sure how the Georgia Bulldogs bounce back after allowing Tennessee to complete a Hail Mary touchdown pass. It's hard to rebound from such a devastating loss. Eason is also completing just 51.5 percent of his passes on the road compared to 58.3 percent at home.
I'll take South Carolina and the points in a game the Gamecocks could win outright.
