The Ohio State Buckeyes haven’t lost to an unranked team at home since their 2014 loss to Virginia Tech. J.T. Barrett is completing 68.6 percent of his passes for 888 yards, 14 touchdowns and two interceptions. Barrett has four or more touchdown passes in three of his four games this season. Defensively, Ohio State is allowing 9.3 points and 235.5 yards per game. Raekwon McMillan leads the Buckeyes with 27 tackles, Nick Bosa has two sacks and Malik Hooker has three interceptions.
The Hoosiers are 2-6 ATS vs. a team with a winning record and 4-0 ATS in their last 4 conference games. The Buckeyes are 4-0 ATS in their last 4 home games and 5-2 ATS in their last 7 conference games. The Hoosiers are 5-0 ATS in their last 5 meetings and the underdog is 5-0 ATS in their last 5 meetings.
We all know that Ohio State is lightyears better than Indiana and should have little trouble winning this game at home. However, 30 points is a little crazy. Indiana can put up points and has improved its defense by allowing 21 or less points in three of its four games this season. For god sake, Indiana did just upset Michigan State, which has to count for something. Not to mention Indiana has covered the last five games against Ohio State. There's also the fact the Buckeyes have a huge road game against Wisconsin next week, so there's a look ahead factor here as well.
I'll take my 30 points with the Indiana Hoosiers and call it a day.
