The Penn State Nittany Lions hope to build on their exciting win over Minnesota in which would be their fourth straight home victory. Trace McSorley is completing 58.9 percent of his passes for 1,284 yards, six touchdowns and three interceptions. McSorley has moved the chains 43 times through the air this season. The Terrapins are 1-5 ATS in their last 6 games following a straight up win of more than 20 points. The over is 5-0 in Nittany Lions last 5 games overall and 5-0 in Nittany Lions last 5 conference games.
This line being a pick em is interesting considering Penn State plays very good football in Happy Valley and is only going to be more confident after beating Minnesota last week in overtime. The Nittany Lions also beat Maryland on the road last season. I guess there's a lot of respect for Maryland and its undefeated start, but keep in mind those wins came against Howard, FIU, UCF and Purdue. None of those teams are Penn State, and the Terps did finish 1-4 SU on the road last season.
I'll gladly take Penn State at home in a pick em game.
